Write down your goals. Put them in a place where you will see them daily. Refer to the often.
And, in addition to your goals, write down the reasons for your goals. For example:
to be independent...
to support my kids...
to give myself and my family a better life...
to supplement my retirement...
to secure my future...
It's amazing how much more focused you can stay with these simple reminders in front of you.
