I am on vacation this week, to get some much needed Christmas shopping, cooking, wrapping, and cleaning done. My time to myself is very special, and yours is too.
Remember, when you are working for yourself, how important it is to take time for yourself. I ran a medical billing service from my home for nearly 10 years. During that time, I would work when company was over. I would work while I was watching TV. I would work weekdays and weekends. I would work on holidays and everyday. It didn't take long before I became a crazy person. Things get to the point where you live to work, rather than work to live.
Remember, work is a means to provide an income for your family. It your work life takes over your family life, then things have gone awry, so it may be time to step back and take stock of what you have going on in your life.
An especially good thing to remember this Christmas week. Enjoy your friends and family, and don't work too hard!
Until next time:
